You Want Some Sheep Cheese?
The next two days in Vis were pretty uneventful. We went to the beach, ate a lot of ice cream, and went to the outdoor theater every night. Sorry I don't have fun stories! They were still pretty fun days.
Oh! Prash found me a rock and a flower that I was supposed to take home as a souvenir...But as I typically have a weight issue with regards to my luggage...my prize had to stay in Vis. But at least I'm acknowledging it now.
We also had lobster at a restaurant recommended by the nice man who owned the apartment...turns out I'm allergic to lobster and allergy medicine makes me sleep through movies at the outdoor theater...Yes, I am talking about the time I slept all the way through Gatsby and woke up sad because it's a great movie (and Daisy is the worst, but let's not get started on that topic right now).
Also, I had a huge bruise on my backside. Still unsure of whether it came from the moped, or the incident with the gas can.
Our last day/night we tasted all of the pizza places on the island...they did not disappoint. We also watched World War Z...which I actually enjoyed even though I didn't want to...it wasn't too bad.
And without further ado, let me explain Sheep Cheese. Every morning, noon and night when we would walk down the main strip of shops, there was a street vendor at the farmers market who would shout "SHEEP CHEESE?! You want SHEEP CHEESE?!" I did want sheep cheese. Sheep cheese is delicious. They gave out samples every day, but we never stopped for them. This man is the reason I unintentionally say "SHEEP CHEESE!" Every time I walk to the cheese section...and the reason I made up a song about sheep cheese in Trader Joes tonight. So. If anyone knows of someone in or near Charlotte that sells sheep cheese, please hook a sister up.
Like I said, there wasn't really anything exciting that happened in the last two days, so back to Split we go!
